Women trooped en masse in Nsukka town with various placards bearing several repremanding inscriptions against Senator, Chuka Utazi and Hon. Pat Asadu. They were trying to express their disenchantment and dissatisfaction with the representation of the duo representing Enugu North Senatorial District and Nsukka/Igbo-Etiti Federal Constituency at the Red and Green Chambers respectively.
Some of the placards on display read; ” Asadu show us your achievements after 18 years in NASS”, ” Sen. Utazi, stop Bible quotation and show us your achievements”, ” Pat Asadu, stop using our children to achieve your selfish political goals” and several other warnings. As the women protested, they urged the duo to toe the path of honour by resigning gently or face the wrath of the people.
We also take into account that on September,5, this year the Youths of Uzo-Uwani passed VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE ON Senator Chuka Utazi due his perceived poor delivery of democratic dividends.
