It was an eventful and a very busy Thursday for His Excellency, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the executive governor of Enugu State on 17th , September, 2020 as he proceeded from the site of the inauguration of the new Police Area Command at Ohom, Orba in Udenu Local Government Area to inspect the ongoing gargantuan projects at ESUT Teaching Hospital at Igbo-Eno in Enugu North Senatorial District.
The site being cleared that was supervised has been allocated for onward construction of 2 nos. 12-classroom faculty buildings, 2 nos. 10-classroom faculty buildings, and 2 nos. 8-classroom faculty buildings designed for the ESUT College of Medicine, Igbo-Eno in proximity to the Specialist Hospital as well as the current construction of industrial water borehole schemes.
It is also relevant for us to take into account the reality that the first phase of the Teaching Hospital has been buttoned up to function as one of the appurtenances for the ESUT College of Medicine Extension relocated to Nsukka.
