The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has congratulated Governor Godwin Obadeki, as the winner of the Edo State 2020 governorship election.
The president in a tweet on Sunday, September 20, by his Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, urged Obaseki to show grace and humility in victory.
Bibian Anekwe News understands that Buhari’s congratulatory message to Obaseki came after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared the incumbent governor of Edo and candidate of thePeoples Democratic Party, PDP, as the winner of the 2020 governorship polls, defeating Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressive Congratulations, APC, and others.
