The governor of Enugu state, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (GBURUGBURU) DUNU 1 NA ORBA. And Chairman, Southeast Governor’s Forum, as well as the leader of the People’s Democratic Party, Southeast Zone, have today refused to go home for Christmas holiday as it is the mark of a good Christian fate, but rather decided to embark on inspection of rural access road infrastructures, his administration has earmarked for total rehabilitation and reconstructions, to enhance the economic activities of Igboeze north local government area, and Ogurute community, precisely.
Recall that an erstwhile Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and one time, Chairman Senate Committee on Works, NASS. Abuja, Distinguished Sen. Ayogu Eze, a good man who equally hails from the said Community, Ogurute/ Umuida respectively, was today played a host to the governor, in his country home in Enugu Ezike, when the leader of the state visited the Community on a proactive projects inspection to ensure a total compliance by the contractors, and as such, for other economic importance, that attracted his His Excellency’s respected presence to the said Community.
Meanwhile, Enugu Ezike is a very important Community to the socio-economic advantage of the state. Hence, the need to give her a good rural access road network, by the government. Gov. Ugwuanyi, has till tomorrow remain a non partisan politician. This has reflected on the nature, character and disposition of his administrations resolve to enact pro- people’s programmes and policies which stimulates, on the forgoing unprecedented economic master plan that ushered in an economic trajectory to the development of the state.
His Excellency, the governor, in his unrelentless effort for a new Enugu, has taken his 4point agenda to creating more urban communities, with the sole mandate, to decongesting the rising population in Enugu metropolitan cities. Gov. Ugwuanyi, has within the 5yrars of his administration, created more urban communities in the state, with the best and quality rural access road network, that will stand the taste of time.
However, the number one state citizen and leader of the peoples democratic party in the state, have been provoked by his adversaries and detractors, to prove to the people of the state, and the nation at large, that an Executive constituted authority, as in the case of the office of a governor, is the only powers in the state that can create communities where there is none. That can urbanized a remote village into an economic hub. That the powers that revolves on the governor’s office is not that cheap that anybody can talk down. Therefore, His Excellency’s positive provocation has been witnessed in the growth of our state infrastructures, taking the rural communities good roads network and accessibility, as a reference point, that generated a lot excitement on the people. Our people in different communities, now testifies the positive administration’s impact of the Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
Furthermore, many of us would recall that His Excellency, the governor and Distinguished Sen. Ayogu Eze, had twice in the past contested an election which at the end, gave serious victory to the governor. Ordinarily, Gov. Ugwuanyi, would have forgotten everything that relates or linked with Sen. Eze.
Undoubtedly, Gov. Ugwuanyi, has performed creditable, to the admirations of the state populace.
Enugu state is in the hands of God.
