Veteran Nollywood producer, Chico Ejiro is dead.
Bibian Anekwe News understands the Nollywood veteran filmmaker died in the early hours of Friday, December 25, 2020.
He reportedly died of a seizure just about 24 hours after concluding a new movie of Christmas eve, December 24.
His remains has been deposited in the mortuary.
The late Chico Ejiro (born Chico Maziakpono) hails from Isoko in Delta State, Nigeria. He studied agriculture before venturing into screenwriting, movie producing, and directing.
He earned himself the nickname of Mr. Prolific based on his ability of being able to direct a movie in as little as 3 days. He directed over 80 movies within a period of 5 years though the exact number of movies he directed during his lifetime is unknown.
Ejiro was married to Joy Ejiro and their union is blessed with four children. His two brothers, Zeb Ejiro and Peter Red Ejiro are also known names in the Nollywood industry.
