Olukoya has warned Nigerians to take coronavirus (COVID-19) seriously.

Speaking to newsmen during the inauguration of the remodeled foyer of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Senate Building sponsored by him, Olukoya urged Nigerians to obey safety protocols stipulated by the government.

Bibian Anekwe News reports that Dr. D.K Olukoya is a first-class microbiology graduate of UNILAG.

While lamenting that many Nigerians still do not believe that the virus was real, the fiery clergyman said COVID-19 existed and should not be joked with.

The MFM GO advised the Muhammadu Buhari-led government to kickstart an awareness campaign to persuade Nigerians that the virus is real.

Olukoya said: “The first thing is to convince the populace that it is real because some people don’t believe it exists.

“But I am a man of God and I have prayed for so many people with the same infirmity and I know that it exists. So, we should not joke with it.

“People should obey all the rules. And most importantly, we should pray that this pandemic will go away.”

Recall that Olukoya had on December 31, 2020 released shocking prophecies for the New Year 2021.

The popular cleric tagged 2021 the “Year of Restoration and Revival.”
