ISWAP Mistakenly Kill Its Commander Responsible For Attack On Military In

A top commander of the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP), Ba’ana Okocha has been mistakenly killed by snipers linked to the terrorist group.
Recall that Okocha claimed responsibility for coordinating the recent attack on Nigerian troops in Marte Local Government Area in Northeastern Borno state, Nigeria.

Sources that confirmed the development to EONS said Okoch who is an indigene of Gamboru was killed alongside four other terrorists at a fortified headquarters of ISWAP in “Arinna Sorro”.

It was reported that Okocha and his men were wrongly identified by ISWAP as an approaching enemy from the camp of Abubakar Shekau.

Other sources linked his death to the tension generated by the ongoing attack by the military under Operations TURA TAKAI BANGO.

In another development, members of the Boko Haram terrorist group on Tuesday carried out a deadly attack on Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.

Recall that the attack led to the death of ten persons, while 47 people have sustained injuries from the incident.

It was gathered that the figure was confirmed to the state Governor, Babagana Zulum by the hospital officials where the affected persons were taken to.
