In a rapt demonstration of his consistency in the political classroom of his master and leader, Hon. Arinze Chilo-Offiah, the current Special Adviser to the amiable governor of Enugu State on Small and Medium Enterprises Development, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, takes care of the school fees of hundreds of students from his primary constituency(Udi) to mark his birthday jollification.
As a political celebrity, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has made it an essential accessory in personal cultural archive to distinguish every of his birthday carnival by celebrating with the less privileged in the society and Hon. Arinze Chilo-Offiah has proven to be following the enigmatic footsteps of his leader by opting to immediately offset the total cost of the third term school fees of one hundred and twenty three (123) students who are down and out. This is in addition to another set of two hundred students constituting the second batch of the beneficiaries of the noble scholarship program initiated by the creative celebrant not just to alleviate the financial burden of some poverty-stricken parents in raising their children but to significantly encourage the quest for educational pursuit among his constituents.
The beneficiaries of the novel project were drawn from the secondary schools in the twenty wards that make up the Udi Local Government Area and were selected by the principals of the respective schools for a responsible and impartial nomination process. as the program kicks off on 3rd , May, 2021 to commemorate the unique 33rd birthday of an emerging leader with a philanthropic spirit, Hon. Arinze Chilo- Offiah.
The principals and staff of the benefitting schools along with the lucky students and udi stakeholders were present.
