No one can doubt the fact that Hon. Mrs. Jane Chinwendu Eneh is a moving train and that Awgu North Constituency, with her, is on course and making headway.
The emergence of this amazon, a woman of history, the first female representative of Awgu North Constituency, resonates with the members of the constituency and indeed the good people of Awgu LGA who have not only witnessed but have, at sundry times and in divers ways, experienced her remarkable impact since she assumed office as Honourable Member representing Awgu North Constituency at the Enugu State House of Assembly.
Armed with the people’s mandate, Hon. Mrs. Eneh, Chief Whip Enugu State House of Assembly, like the bullet train, hit the ground running without any hesitation and hasn’t slowed down ever since in her unwavering effort to deliver quality service, surpass expectations and satisfy the yearnings of these constituents who have come to repose so much confidence in her based on her superlative performance.
Her acts have made monumental waves that reverberated across the nook and cranny of Awgu LGA and beyond where she is now recognized as a high impact woman leader.
Leadership has continued to be measured by the use rather than abuse of power with positive and significant impact on human elements who are to such leadership, subject.
On the basis of her impact, it is unarguable that the current period of Hon. Jane Eneh’s leadership in Awgu North Constituency, typifies a period of unprecedented hope and firm faith which was inspired by this great woman who is not just a selfless leader and caring mother to her constituents but a down to earth woman of the people, one who shares their concerns and who is committed to their welfare and empowerment in an extraordinary way.
She believes that her people can fare better if she gives her best and if she makes personal sacrifices in their interest. It is common knowledge that she is to this cause, completely sold out.
The Hon Chief Whip, Hon. Mrs. Jane C. Eneh, no doubt, a worthy representative, evokes the image of a moving train in view of the unique style and the momentum that characterize her scintillating approach to leadership which has propelled and accelerated development, advanced the cause of Awgu North Constituency and made a mark that cannot be gainsaid or ignored.
Awgu North takes pride in the person and doggedness of Hon. Jane Eneh who ensures that the good and splendid programmes of Governor Ugwuanyi’s government, do not at any time and for any reason elude Awgu North Constituency.
She maintains visibility, credibility, loyalty and deploys these virtues to conscientiously pursue and attract government presence and programmes which have unfurled across the constituency.
Practically every community in Awgu North is presently enjoying a new lease of life on account of her dedicated service and quality representation.
A case in point is the construction and reconstruction of schools which has been elevated to an enviable dimension with most communities in the constituency having at least a newly constructed/reconstructed ultramodern classroom block and some having more among other interventions.
In order to achieve this milestone, Hon. Eneh instinctively explored the laudable and characteristically viable educational policies and initiatives of Governor Ugwuanyi’s Administration and leveraged on its schools construction/reconstruction programme to actualize this feat.
Her impact on the lives of her constituents and on the various communities in her constituency and even beyond are considered tremendous particularly when viewed against the limited period of time she has so far spent in office.
When she moves, she moves with a tremendous force and a momentum comparable to that of a steam engine, pulling in the process, an incredible crowd of loyal followers, many of whom have directly benefited from her unusual large heart and generosity.
Hence, after the order of Elizabeth, the Queen of Bohemia, who by her amiable disposition was said to have endeared herself to all hearts, Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh has endeared herself to practically everyone and could be described without equivocation as the Queen of Hearts as well as the vivacious and elegant Queen of Awgu North Constituency.
According to Reverend Paul Beedle, “followership is a discipline of supporting leaders and helping them to lead well. It is not necessarily submission, but the wise and good care of (great) leaders, done out of a sense of gratitude for their willingness to take on the responsibilities of leadership, and a sense of hope and faith in their abilities and potential.”
There is no doubt that the strong followership Hon. Eneh is currently enjoying, points to a remarkable goodwill and reflects an enthusiastic appreciation of the rare selflessness she exhibits and which has become her trade mark. Besides, it is clearly a justification of her efforts in moving Awgu North Constituency forward through the commitment of her total being.
Among her ardent followers are the lovers of progress in the constituency, lovers of education who appreciate her laudable achievements in the sector and constituents who know about and appreciate her contributions towards improving the security situation in Awgu North Constituency to which she recently donated an ultramodern Toyota Sienna full option in a bid to ensure that her constituents remain safe.
This singular gesture left many, especially those who witnessed the development, who watched her pick up her belongings from the car, wondering what manner of a person she is.
Her choice of walking home after giving out the car she came out with, without any previous notice, in order to ensure the safety of her people, symbolizes her level of selflessness and the extent she can go for the good of her people.
There are also those who cherish her humanitarian part and who continue to stand by her as a way of motivating her to sustain the scholarships offered to over a hundred indigent students of Awgu North Constituency and other selfless acts.
Inclusive also are the beneficiaries of her numerous acts of benevolence including beneficiaries of her free adult education programme in the constituency and the retired teachers who were engaged as their instructors and who have in the job, found a source of sustenance.
There are equally the widows who enjoy her patronage from time to time and the youths who received various levels of sponsorship and support from her by which they learnt a trade and eke a living.
Other major groups include the various christian groups, the women groups, youth associations and of course the sixty persons in her payroll, drawn from both Awgu North and South Constituencies, who are a critical component of her support base and followership which cuts across Awgu LGA.
Through maintaining good inter-personal relationships, humility, good judgment and prudence, Hon. Eneh has ensured mutual respect with every member of the constituency irrespective of their creed, who are individually and collectively considered indispensable by this great leader who embraces all and sundry.
This is the reason her support base remains all-inclusive and broad enough to accommodate people of all walks of life in the constituency who find a mother in this woman of the people who is prepared to come down to any level to feel the pains of her people and to leave an impact.
All these people and indeed the entire constituency and the LGA at large recognize her as a moving train and are aware that with this great woman, Awgu North Constituency is on course and will certainly arrive.
