**THROWS WEIGHT BEHIND GOVERNOR UGWUANYI RURAL/HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT STRIDES
The apex and umbrella body of youths from Greater Awgu land, the Greater Awgu Youth General Assembly, a socio-political and cultural organisation is set to carry out a community based reach-out and campaign tagged “GREATER AWGU YOUTH TOUCH A LIFE CAMPAIGN PROJECT 2021”
This life enhancing project is aimed at capacity building, grooming and growth of indigent youths/student’s cutting across the three local government area (Aninri, Awgu and Oji River LGA). This is to further complement and support the giant and numerous efforts of the Governor Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and our leaders at different levels towards rural and human capital development.
“The Greater Awgu Youth Touch a Life Campaign” will see to the distribution of school materials to primary and secondary schools student’s even as they prepare to return back to the classroom, purchase of 90 2021 JAMB forms to indigent Greater Awgu Student’s (30 per LGA), award of bursary and scholarship to performing primary and secondary school student’s, sensitization/enlightenment against cultism, drug abuse and distribution of sanitary pads to the girl child. Inclusive too of this is a Medical/Health Outreach to the aged and sick in Greater Awgu Land.
This initiative is set to be carried out in batches across schools and communities in Greater Awgu Land.
