Development has been defined as a qualitative and quantitative transformation which has the tendency to improve the general living conditions of a society or nation. Development has to do with the economic growth in terms of gross domestic product (GDP), per capita income and consumer price index(CPI) measurement, while quantitative development is all about human living conditions such as improvement in maternal and child healthcare, basic education, housing and other social welfare requirements.
The administration of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi clearly understands the development index and have steadily invested in deliberate policies towards the socio-economic transformation with a view to improving the quality of lives and alleviation of poverty.
Naturally no country or nation can boast of having all the resources they needed for accelerated growth, management of the available resources is still very key. Governor Ugwuanyi must be given excellent thumbs up in the management of scarce resources that avails Ndi Enugu. That he is generally adjudged to have performed creditably in governance today is traceable to his expertise as an astute manager of men and resources. The fallout of his many economic policies is reflective of his effective management of resources which have more than before strengthened the economic base of the state.
The administration of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi have triggered developmental transformation for all business activities in the state aimed at massive empowerment of the people and self sustenance.
Visible development is truly taking place in Enugu state which has greatly helped in the reduction of crimes and other social vices such as killing, robbery, kidnapping, cultism and the like.
It is worthy of note that Governor Ugwuanyi in pursuant to his development Agenda for the state has remained largely focused, fair and just in the distribution of democracy dividends and has enthroned enduring political harmony, peace and security for Ndi Enugu.
These are clearly developmental index which has continued to resonate with the good citizens of Enugu State. Governor Ugwuanyi has done well. May God continue to protect and bless him for us for ever and ever, Amen…
