In furtherance of the charge of the GburusCare Initiative to carry out a statewide medical outreach to the elderlies in Enugu State, the GburusCare Initiative (GCI) has partnered with the Maurice Akueme Foundation, (MAF) to ensure that the doorstep medical services is effectively delivered to Udi Local Government Area precisely Ukana and it’s environs. This partnership became necessary because the Maurice Akueme Foundation, a charity organization timelessly holding dominance as a foremost humanitarian organization with special emphasis on Udi Local Government offered to be part of the good and humanitarian works of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. The outreach which started on Saturday 10th of July is recording huge turn out and a verifiable success which can be attributed to the creative alignment of the efforts of the GburusCare medical professionals and the Maurice Akueme Foundation Team who are always available to make all on ground preparations and visibly ensure that every old person in the community benefits. The MAF vehicles are always seen dutifully shuttling to and fro the venue ensuring the conveyance of elders.
So far, the elderlies of Ukana, Okpatu and Awhum in Udi Local government are testifying of the love of Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for Udi people and this is clear testament to the verity of the GburusCare Partnership with the Maurice Akueme Foundation.
Gov. Ugwuanyi remains committed to positively touching every life directly in Enugu state.
