The strategic plans of the governor of Enugu state in his untiring efforts to securing the lives of Ndi Enugu, remain the best approach for the Nigerian state. This is because, Gov Ugwuanyi has deployed enough energies, commitment in wearing thinking cap to dutifully undertook some proactive process in ensuring that the people of the state live in peace and go about their normal business, in a well purposeful secured environment. One can think of how the Ugwuanyi’s administration has been able to achieve this within the six years of his government, even when Nigeria is currently bleeding without mercy on daily basis. To this, the people of Enugu do not really know the much sacrifices the governor have been putting in place to achieve this result reliable result.
Therefore, it becomes imperative that the Nigerian state as a matter of urgency to exchange leadership ideas, good cooperation and unity of purpose, rise up to occasion and meet with Ugwuanyi’s administration in Enugu to help strategize and borrow his lofty ideas on security, peace and inclusive governance to bring the desiring peace for the Nigeria leadership. This become necessary going by the uneasy and incessant killings and marked assassinations happening in most states of the federation, especially the recent in Anambra where almost ten people were unjustly murdered and many kidnapped within the last one week as the Gov Obiano cried helplessly. Enugu state is blessed with Gov Ugwuanyi on the saddle of leadership. Fortunately enough, the state has remained focused and peaceful owing to the fact that the governor has consolidated on the mandate of the people as their most trusted leader of all time. It’s very important that we reiterate the commitment of the governor in keeping to his campaign promises to Ndi Enugu, that his administration would leave no stone unturned to creating the most peaceful state in the continent of Africa. Just as you have seen in many governors of Nigeria quickly rushing to make a press statement for face saving when they slack administrative ingenuity to tackling the security challenges in their respective states, Gov Ugwuanyi has never indulged in such political jamboree and effortless media noise making. Rather, he puts on his garment of thinking caps with much apprehensive measures in forestalling peace and tranquility in the state of Enugu.
Meanwhile, it’s of note that Gov Ugwuanyi ranked number one on peace & security, good governance, purposeful & visionary leadership, rural transformational development, politics of inclusion among all state actors. This has uniquely qualified the governor to becoming an administrative institution to the Nigeria nation-state. Ugwuanyi as an enigma, colossus, strategist and mathematician in all facets of life, has genuinely constructed a peace bond between the people of the state and his administration, thus placing Enugu into the hands of God. This is uncommon magic, this is the foresight, this is the best approach other states should look on the governor to lend them a helping hands in keeping their respective states safe and to the path of development. If Gov Ugwuanyi could deploy his political will in achieving this herculean task in Enugu as governor, Nigerians can be better fed when operating under the presidency of this country. God is still saying something.
