Power remains a meaningless tool until it is used and the greatest opportunity to test a man’s integrity is to entrust him with political power. And I can confirm that the reward for excellent service is more services and having taken some quality time to verify Gov. Peter Mba’s profile and antecedents, both in the public and private sectors, I would love to admit that there are actually some prodigious potentials about the man, His Excellency Gov
Peter Mba which he will ultimately pass on to his crew members when they come on board.
A glaring aspect of Govel
Peter Mba’s orientation that really wows one and sways my opinion about his nature is his avowed penchant for specificity and statistics as he seems to have written down and calculated every logistics that is required by his administration from beginning to the end. His Excellency, Dr Peter Mba is already conscious that his first tenure will last for 1,460 days and is padded with the projects, policies and programs that would make his tenure quite eventful and colorful. Our obligations and duties as citizens of Enugu therefore, is certainly to assist the government realize those great visions by going about our normal business without the urge to violate the fundamentals in the constitution of the state. Nevertheless, this submission does not entail that as ordinary citizens of Enugu State, we will not participate in the business of governance if our services are at any time required for the efficient and effective running of the machineries of the state.
But for the primary essence of this essay, I am particularly attracted by some catchy, unique and innovative projects set to be executed by Gov. Peter Mba administration and I know that I am not the only person who can not wait to see them in reality. When I listened to Gov Peter Mba proclaim that his government is in a haste to dualize Abakpa /Ugwuogo-Nike /Nsukka road and simultaneously construct a monorail from Enugu to Nsukka through Udi to Awgu, while constructing a ring road that will eventually connect the 17 local governments in Enugu State, I would not hesitate to embrace the eventual daybreak for our beautiful TOMORROW to as it arrives.
In inference, having peeped through a keyhole to discover the packages Gov. Peter Mba have for Ndi Enugu, I am personally enchanted and entrapped by the unique ornaments, allure and aura defining our future as a people. I humbly and totally align with the governor’s popular mantra that with him OUR TOMORROW IS HERE.
Long Live, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Mba.
The Executive Governor, Enugu State.
Long Live the Good People of Enugu State.
