It is often said that “when we fail to plan, then we are planning to fail”.
The administration of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is one critically planned and practically executing for the good of common man.
Ugwuanyi came to power when the economy of the country is dwindling which was coined “Recession” and the Federal government allocation to the States wasn’t enough to carry out even the list of the projects in the state. This however, caused some states of the nation to abandon their capital projects. Payment of workers was a difficult task as workers goes for 5-8 months without salary.
The case of Enugu State was a different one as workers receives their salary without delay. This is not because Enugu recieves her full allocation from the Federal Government or that the Economic Recession was not affecting the state; but because the governor critically deviced means of generating revenues outside the Federal Government allocation.
No wonder The national bureau of statistics ranked Enugu higher on Internally Generated Revenues (IGR), even higher than some Oil producing States
2021 is just fresh and the hard working governor of Enugu State is already executing his plans for the year.
The governor has released a #169billion budget for the 2021.
His administration has created 1000 jobs for the youths through the national directorate of employment.
It would be interesting to note that Enugu State is among the first states in Nigeria to introduce the “New minimum wage” in country.
Workers in Enugu are more dedicated to their jobs than ever as they are confident of recieving their salaries regularly unlike the previous administrations; Pensioneers too takes home their pay without delay.
The governor RT. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi was and is able to achieve this feet because he is a master strategist.
It would be right to say that Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Mr Fulfilment) understands perfectly the Political Landscape hence strategically organized his administration to suit all and sundry.
His recent intervention in the state judicial service proves that Gburugburu is really an Attitude as the governor has touched every sectors with his benevolence.
He constructed the State Customary Court of Appeal Headquarters complex in Enugu; as well as two (2) modern Customary Courts in all the 17 LGAs of the state.
Recall that the tireless or should I say the “workaholic governor” has recruited 5000 teachers for Primary and Secondary schools in the state as well as renovating and equipping more than 300 schools through the Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board(ESUBEB). There is also massive construction, renovation and reconstruction of classroom blocks, hostels and teachers offices in most secondary Schools across the State.
The institutions of higher education are not left out as the popular Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu, has been transited into a degree-awrding institution. This was achieved under the stewardship of Dr Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi (Mr Fulfilment).
The state attracted WORLD BANK projects through which Youths and women are empowered.
The kind hearted governor, who always listens to the pleas of his people, offered scholarship to more than 650 “indigent” students at Enugu State Polytechnic, Iwollo and Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu.
3600 traders benefited the #50,000 cash through the Enugu State traders empowerment scheme.
Security is one area Ugwuanyi’s administration never failed to strengthen at all time. Recall that he (Mr Fulfilment) donated 360 patrol vehicles to the security operators in the state; and recently donated more 100 units of Innoson Vehicles vans with communication gadgets to the security agenciesto aid their operations in the state. This had helped curb all sorts of criminal activities in the state.
Enugu State is now the most PEACEFUL and CALM state in the nation, even the “comptroller-General of Nigerian Immigration Services, Muhammad Babandede, described governor Ugwuanyi as a Great man and all rounder, hence the name (Gburugburu), who has demonstrated e enormous commitment towards the security of lives and properties in the state”.
Even as governor Ugwuanyi’s administration is on its second phase, the hardworking governor continues to give to his people the very best they could ever ask for or wanted from any administration.
Enugu remains in the hands of God…
