Enugu state people has always been known as peace loving people, one of the major attribute of the state known to all and sundry; that is why investors and business people most especially security conscious people always conveniently settle in Enugu state even some prefer buying or building residential houses for their family. Why this is so is that God in his infinite mercy has always blessed our beloved state with dedicated, peace loving and security smart Governor such as Rt.Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi.
A Governor with open door policy; no matter the tribe or ethnicity he gives audience and pays attention to the needs of his people indigenous and non-indigenous, that is why he is keen to public enlightenment; how to spot a good leader is that person committed to the Education, welfare, health and security of his people. Oh what a wonderful man we have in Gburus!
A Governor that doesn’t discriminate; Enugu state has been recorded as a state with high level synergy between political parties, a state where the governor those not discriminate but accommodates people from opposition parties there by creating good working relationship between political parties, his excellency has portrayed himself as an exemplary leader just like the mother hen, he has ensured that enugu state remains one undivided family politically and otherwise.
A Governor that is accommodating Uneasy they say Lye’s the head that wears the crown, the only thing I believe every well meaning citizen of Enugu whether indigenous and non-indigenous owes our Governor is support and Prayers; because it is right to give honour to whom honour is due. The reasons why we must support His excellency Rt.Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi can never be over emphasized. Because being a man most a times I am overwhelmed with the pressure I find around me in my little capacity talk more of a man shouldering the problems and challenges of a whole state in a time like these and has worked sagaciously to give results and not excuses.
The country currently is facing a very challenging security situation and it has become an issue bothering every well meaning citizen of the country. This indeed is the time we must all jointly compliment the efforts of our dear leader Rt.Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi by pursuing and upholding peace in our various localities and wards as war and its likes has never been a nice or suiting tale to those that has witnessed it. Remember there is no V.I.P treatment in Internally displaced persons (I.D.P) camps so it will be in the interest of us all to remain guided and committed in fostering peace in the state.
As we all know there is time for everything; there is time to laugh and time to cry, time to talk and time to listen so there is time to support and time to be supported. The time we are in currently is time to support the sitting leader of the state as there will be a time for aspiring leaders to seek support; It is only never do wells and miscreants that has no regards for time schedules and orderliness. Enugu state is a state of intellects, fair minded and orderly people (onye na adiro emé otuà aburo onye enugu), that is why we have come this far in keeping a known reputation of peaceful and calmness in times of severe rancor in Nigeria. It is said that a metal must be melted to mold another metal so to say His Excellency and a Host of Others is that metal that will be melted in the Lion Building to mold another metal and this would only be done at the right time(onye akpotee kwaná Eze Agu na umu agu no na urà).
There is an IGBO adage that says “Eze puo Eze anochie” which simply means when a king steps aside another king will emerge; so indeed a king must step aside for another to be made and to the best of our knowledge there is no vacancy in the lion building at least not until our Great party and the appropriate body INEC gives indication or Notifications to that effect; I am an all round son of Enugu grounded in our state politics and policy and one thing I know as a fact in Enugu is that LOYALTY is the bedrock of Enugu state politics. So i beg all of us ndi Enugu to please not to serve as a tool of distraction or confusion to our Able and amiable Governor in this trying times with talks of ZONING and its likes, we must stay loyal and rooted to the course of our great party and continuously support our leader the Governor both morally and most especially in prayers as there is no need to charge up the political mode of the State, there by activating His Excellency’s political mode this in turn will disrupt the peaceful Governance of the State. Indeed it is wise for us to note that it is only God that anoints Leaders so for His Excellency Rt.Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi to contest and win the seat of Governorship in Enugu state without dispute or opposition means God has destined it and has a purpose for him which I believe we all are witnesses to that purpose and by the special grace of the God of Isaac and Jacob, the awesome God of David which he always calls at all times he has not failed in that purpose of actualizing his promises contained in his Four(4) point agenda so we should continue to trust and support him to make the right calls as he is use to by having the interest and welfare of the citizens of the state at heart.
INDEED ENUGU STATE IS AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE IN THE HANDS OF GOD; TO GOD BE THE GLORY.
