The postponed 2021 African Cup of Nation (AFCON) is set to kick start on January 9, 2022, in Cameroon.
Bibian Anekwe News reports that the tournament has however come under COVID-19 threat, with many suggesting that it might be postponed again due to the fast spreading Omicron variant.
