The association of national accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) was today met with the governor of Enugu state, His Excellency, Rt Hon Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, in government house Enugu, and applauded the visionary and purposeful administration of the governor as the most accountable leadership in the country. Nothing the giants strides his government has recorded in transparency, speedy deployment of public resources to work and the administration’s infrastructural developments in the most rural areas. This was as a result of the feasibility studies, carried by this body on the resultant effects of the good governance in the state. ANAN however, declared the government of Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as the most prudence and accountable in resource control.
Recall that sometimes this year, the governor was conferred a deserving honour as a fellow of the chartered accountant of Nigeria, by the same body. This honour was as a result of the Ugwuanyi’s administration record breaking in financial management amidst the economic downturn bedeviling all sectors of the economy. Describing Gov Ugwuanyi as the most financial manager who has deployed enough human resource control through an envisaged inclusion of the public private partnership in keeping with his vision to creating an Enugu financial freedom and improvement as a pathway to stabilizing the State IGR without over dependency to federal allocation.
ANAN is a professional global respected body of financial institution, made of economic experts. To this regard, the body beams their torchlight across the 36 states of the federation, with an uncommon stance in justifying the most economic prudent governor, hence Gov Ugwuanyi was unanimously approved by the body as an outstanding performer, both in infrastructure and good public record in managing the lean state resources. Gov Ugwuanyi earned this fellow and the body’s subsequent visit on merit. Its therefore imperative to ascribed the governor’s vision and purposeful leadership as a panacea for peace and development the administration has brought in the state. This is quite unprecedented, uncommon and an incredible feat.
Enugu state is in the hands of God.
