House remains one of the basic necessities of man. No man can thrive better in any setting without a roof over his or her head. Even the Almighty God is His good wisdom have been able to create an abode for His first creation, Adam and his partner, Eve. God equally directed the birds of the air to build a nest where they could retire and rest after flying around. God is truly an impartial God. All the living animals He created have been able to recreate what God has in mind for them to be sheltered and secured from the elements.
It is in the realization of this noble objective by God, man has attempted over the years to make a roof over his head, that he might have a place to dwell and carry on with his socio-economic activities. Regrettably, over the years man’s experiences with the rising cost of building materials have left his dreams to have roof over his head a mere pipe dream. No thanks to his limited purchasing power. Today, house building has become a luxury only the elite and the the wealthy in our midst can afford.
The rural urban migration has contributed in small measure to the emergence of squalid habitation. Both small business men and women and low cadred civil servants have had to struggle for the few available built up houses and most of them located in slums unfit for domestic animals habitation.

It is therefore heart warming that Enugu State is now alive with a leader who will take no for an answer until his mission in government is truly accomplished and dusted. Governor Ugwuanyi seems to be in agreement with the legendary musician of Igbo traditional genre, Late Chief Oliver Sunday Akanite popularly known as Oliver De Coque who in one of his songs, prayed God to help every man to build and own his own house. This is how important housing has become to man. As noted earlier, house is now a luxury affordable only by those who have made enough money either from personal savings or business gains. Today, the governor of Enugu state is determinedly firmed up to change the narrative in the housing sector especially for the civil servants who form bulk of the population of the state.
The low and middle income earners in Enugu State had truly endured a long time disrespect and exploitation from some set of people called Landlords. The Enugu state administration ably led by Rt.Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi; (I always describes him as A man of Introspection) in conjunction with REAL ESTATE DEVELOPERS is set to change the narrative as he plans to build about 750 houses for Civil Servants in the state. The building site located at the proximity of New Market Bridge, Enugu by Ugwu Onyeama would comprise of 750 units of 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom bungalows respectively. The amazing fact is that the would be beneficiaries would have a prolonged repayment package plans as they would enjoy the grace to pay in itsy-bitsy for years to come. The civil servants have equally choices to make in selecting the apartment suitable for them. This is truly commendable and heart warming.

The Governor never stops attracting investors and developers to the state. Since he took over the mantle of leadership in 2015, Enugu has been receiving praises and commendations from other states in the country.
The Coal City View Satellite Estate Project (which is under construction for the civil servants) was last week inspected by the workaholic leader of the leaders, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. Much regards to the General Manager of Enugu State Housing Development Corporation (ESHDC) Hon. Ferdinand Chiemelie Agu who has been following the directives of the Governor to execute the mandate of the government Agency (ESHDC).

Undoubtedly, the humongous estate for the civil servants in the state will in no small measure ameliorate the sufferings of the people they have ever faced with housing facilities. It is on record that many civil servants who cannot afford the high cost of house rent in the urban center have resorted to commuting from their home village to the city thereby putting their lives in jeopardy. Most times, they come to work very late when they could not access public transportation on time to the office, making the government business to suffer too. It is important to stress therefore that these aforementioned challenges would become a thing of the past as soon as the 750 housing estate is completed. The project is also assured of its timely completion since it is a Private /Public Partnership initiative.
It is equally important to note that the Governor of Enugu state would equally extend his benevolence to the rural dwellers. Development would never stop as long as Gburugburu remains the pilot of Enugu affairs.
Governor Ugwuanyi (Gburugburu) is truly an Odozi Obodo by every standard.

Mr Fulfillment, the great Humble White Lion, just days after inspecting the work at the Satellite Estate, is already making plans to build and construct another 5000 houses across Enugu. This shows that he is not slowing down at all as a capacity leader.

It is not a question of argument that the Humble Lion has written his name with an indelible marker in the hearts of people of Enugu State and Southeast in general; while we pray that God will surely catapult him on the national scene where his character and leadership skills would be felt once more. There would be nothing a nation like Nigeria could ask for, if not to have a leader like His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. This is why we crave for his interest towards presidency come 2023.

A support for Gburugburu, is a support for good governance. And a support for good governance, obliterates corruption.

ENUGU STATE IS IN THE HANDS OF GOD.
