The wise man said “when purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable”.
I got worried seeing people who see opportunities and don’t make use of same. I am disturbed that opportunity is in our neighborhood and we don’t bother much on how to make use of the opportunity at our disposal.
My spirit is troubled that we don’t know what we have. We are completely ignorant of the privileges we have in His Excellency, Rt Hon Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as the Executive Governor of Enugu State at a time like this. This is one opportunity we need to make maximum use of, if our tomorrow must be guaranteed. It pains me a lot that many of our people are still being fooled into believing that His Excellency, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi didn’t mean well for Enugu people.
How else can someone show love to his people? How else can anyone help his people if not through generational impact like what His Excellency, Rt. Hon Dr Ifeanyi ugwuanyi is currently doing in Enugu today?
I had an experience when I was in High Schools, One of our teachers; A Government teacher, would He rarely come to school? When it was time for him to teach us Government, The class Prefect will go and look for him but will be absent in the school. It became an issue to some of us doing Government. One day he came into the class to teach and the students were making noise, He wrote the topic on the board and turned to the class and said to us ” Better make use of me when I am available”. That word struck me and I will never forget it in my life. My dear Ndi-Enugu, let’s make use of His Excellency, Ifeanyi ugwuanyi, when he is available doing great magic in infrastructures and human endeavors to ensuring Enugu state receives good governance.
We may not have this golden opportunity again. God is not a waster of his vessel. Jesus looked at his people and wept because they didn’t know the day of their visitation. Opportunity they say come but once. How are we sure we will have this kind of opportunity to develop Enugu State the way and manner His Excellency, the governor is selflessly doing it today? I doubt if this kind of a person will ever come our way considering the monumental footprint is bequeathing as a lasting legacy in the minds of the people.
As a Party, we must suggest, we give our Progressive Governor the needed support and solidarity to continue making Enugu State a pride of place in the comity of States before leaving for Abuja for the development of our Country Nigeria.
I call on all well meaning Enugu to give maximum support and solidarity to His Excellency Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his love and massive infrastructural revolution in Enugu State, especially in the abandoned rural communities.
Thank you, Your Excellency for remembering Enugu people in time like this when other people are looking for their leaders and could not find them. But for you, you are taking care of us as a people you so much loved and cherished unconditionally. This is because you have nourished great future and prospects for the people of Enugu state.
Assuredly, Nigeria will be rescued the way you kept Enugu on the path of peace, progress and uncommon developments with the state of arts geared toward the government massive agricultural revolution.
