Chelsea football club manager, Frank Lampard, is at the verge of vacating Stamford Bridge as the club owner, Roman Abramovich listed out five possible managers to replace the former blues.
Source recalls that the English Premier League club appointed the club legend as the new manager for the team in July 2019.
However, there have been calls for Lampard’s removal as Chelsea coach in a couple of hours now following a 2-0 defeat to Leicester City on Tuesday night.
Rumours had it that Chelsea billionaire Abramovich is giving a thought of replacing Lampard with either of the below-listed coaches.
The likes of Premier League duo Ralph Hasenhuttl and Brendan Rodgers are among coaches to possibly replace Lampard at Chelsea. Recently sacked Paris Saint-Germain manager, Thomas Tuchel, former Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri, and Julian Nagelsmann who had done well at RB Leipzig were also listed in Abramovich’s replacement list.
Source understands that Lampard is Chelsea’s 10th manager with Chelsea since 18 years Abramovich took over the club’s ownership.
The club now sits in eighth place on the EPL table following their defeat last night.
