Democracy has won for itself a household name across the length and breath of all the liberal and not liberal society across the world. The concept has again prominence largely because it is believed to be a sine-qua for growth, development and sustainability of the body polity as opposed to the military autocracy. Democracy is therefore a concept that is akin to people’s interest aspirations and collective desire to change.
The culture of democracy in any political setting reinforces itself in the overall benefits of the people will enjoy from the system so much so that contrary practice will devoid of the tenets and philosophy or democracy is seriously frowned at, and hence could be seen as being counter productive. The concept of democracy was based on the maxim america declaration of independence that all men are created equal and they all has inalienable right to governed our people not to embezzled or sized power.
Enugu state is an example of state that pragmatisms what I called pure rotational democracy in the state, and is because the of the consensus agreement of our pass dignitary leaders of Enugu state, and how the rotational formula should be implemented in the whole zones.
This agreement is never a unilateral agreement for those that want to subvert zoning formula for there egocentric mindset. just as one of son campaigning to subvert the zoning formula of Enugu state for his endeared public funds aggrandizement and sizing of power for his families and friends.
I say no to the jurisdiction of absolute ruler a tyrant , such personage with tyrant mindset of leadership and incapacitated to rule and also to achieve even the little one been acquired is not and needed in the state…… Rotation continue.
Avoidance of centralization of power is the major reasons why our founding fathers of politics in Enugu make a consensus agreement on how the power should be rotating in the three senatorial zones for equity, serenity and justice prevalent, and also for the benefits of all the caboodle not for one personage.
And this is the reason why Nigeria are not pragmatism unitary system of government in other to avoid centralization of power and to maintain peace, equity, unity, transparency and political awareness.
With the absence of this earlier rotation, Enugu state will have been in a combat of war against political power and will trigger genocide, fratricide , hoodlum, thuggery, cultism etc, in a state. That is why rotation in Enugu state is more powerful and can’t never be subvert by any man.
