The recently gubernatorial election which took place in about 32 states of the Federation on the 18th of March 2023 might have come and gone, but the memories of that voting encounter just like the Presidential polls before it will linger for a very long time to come.
An anti climax of the highly rated contest occurred In the Coal City state when the result of the gubernatorial election was delayed owing to some claimed irreconcilable differences in the collated results across some constitutencies took the center stage thus fuelling anxiety and shooting up the adrenaline of party faithfuls / contestants to high level.
However, when the dust settled, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Barrister Peter Mba emerged victorious, thus affirming what the Psalmist stated in chapter 75:6-7 “… victory does not come from the East or West or from the wilderness. For God is the judge! He brings one down and exalts another”.
Ndi Enugu spoke glaringly through their ballots and yearned for a candidate that will be committed to putting Enugu on a high pedestal level as exemplified by candidate Peter Mba. It is therefore not outside the confines of decency and patriotism for those who had every reason to work for Dr. Peter Mba’s emergence as the governor-elect of Enugu State to applaud and blow their horn for his grand slam at the poll even as he steadied himself irrespective of the litigation by the opposition candidate to select his team of technocrats who will help him to actualize his noble vision and mission for Enugu state.
As a verified proactive project manager and visioner, Dr. Peter Mba is certainly reviewing his manifestos and social contract with the good people of Enugu State prior to his eventual victory at the polls for a timely and effective delivery of his campaign promises when his inauguration as the next Governor of Enugu State comes underway on the 29th of May, 2023. Enugu State is truly in the hands of God.
With sound consciousness of the imperative of an efficient security system and as a panacea for exponential economic and political development and growth, Dr. Peter Ndubusi Mba is yet set for a truly roller coaster in the land of Enugu, Dr. Peter Mba is already certain of the contemporary security innovation that would engender a unique investor – friendly state that would be the pride of all.
My confidence in Dr. Peter Mba’s reign as the governor of Enugu State naturally and logically springs from the experimental consistency and the characteristic success defining his renowned degrees and pedigrees. For a leader who has been able to defeat the complexities of the business world at the international stage and has been pragmatically altruistic and philanthropic leading to massive social and infrastructural development and advancement outside the corridors of political authorities and power, I have little to no reservations about his ability to deliver on his mandates and for that I will continue to drown and sunburn in the elation and glee of Dr. Peter Mba’s victory at the just concluded 2023 General Elections in Enugu State, after all, OUR TOMORROW IS HERE!
Enugu State is in the Hands of God.
