Former minister of Aviation under the Goodluck Jonathan administration, Femi Fani-Kayode, has noted that things may fall apart if the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government fails to handle the protest against police brutality with seriousness.
There have been speculations that the ongoing protest against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad across states in the country may soon become uncontrollable.
The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party noted that despite the killings by police operative and attacks by pro-SARs thugs Nigerians are not giving up.
“10 people murdered in the last few days during the #EndSARS #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeria protests.”
“Armed thugs sent out to disrupt the protests in Abuja yet the protests are growing.”
“If this matter is not handled with the urgency and seriousness it deserves, things will fall apart,” he said.
