The Leader of ENUGU DI N’AKACHUKWU MOVEMENT and the Senior Special Assistant to Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on Mobilization and Empowerment ;Hon. Mrs Bibian Anekwe has warned against the destabilizing effect of anti-zoning sentiments being propelled and peddled by some politicians specifically from Enugu West Senatorial Zone of the state.
Hon.Mrs Bibian Anekwe while speaking on the backdrop of repeated media campaigns targeted at abolishing the already existing zoning formula in the state, warned those behind such campaigns to retrace their steps.
According to her, “the gang up sparked off by media hype in Enugu West Senatorial Zone against Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s administration is becoming unbearable with their intention to abolish the 1999 Enugu zoning arrangement”.
She pleaded with top politicians in the zone to stop all media campaigns which could sabotage, distract and destabilize the administration of Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi( MR FULFILMENT) in sustaining the peace that is associated with the serenity defining his leadership.
According to Hon. Mrs. Bibian Anekwe, “no amount of media war or pressure will alter Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s choice of successor which is bound to manifest soonest in line with the Enugu zoning arrangement that is designed to engineer peaceful transitions.”
She continued by declaring that, “those against the zoning system are enemies of the peace in the state because the zoning system is one of the reasons we are enjoying peaceful atmosphere in Enugu State” and warned emphatically against toying with the format.
The Director General of ENUGU DI N’AKA CHUKWU MOVEMENT concluded by asserting that, “Enugu West Senatorial Zone should be patient and wait till 2030 for governorship ” and craved the indulgence of all the well-meaning citizens and residents of Enugu State to support Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s administration; resisting every temptation to be used to destabilize the peace and tranquility enjoyed in the state.
