As the electorates get inundated with hyper- political innuendos of various hues from the political gladiators in the hot race for political positions in the 2023 general elections, it becomes incumbent on the discerning electorates to become very wary of the often rehearsed and seasonal antics of some ambitious and “professional” politicians with choleric lineaments, bent on ascending sensitive and juicy positions in every election.

As the electioneering activities in Enugu State fiendishly reaches a crescendo, almost all the leaders of the opposition political parties to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu are not leaving any stone unturned in their vain quest to discredit the people’s government of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and the highest – profiled gubernatorial hopeful in Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mba and his credible team but the glaring irony of the situation is that instead of enlightening the voting population in the state about their manifestos and mandates, the opposition politicians are more consumed by their inordinate quest to throw tantrums around with reckless abandon. It then becomes obvious that most of the members of the current structures of opposition parties are apparently those who lost in the keenly – contested PDP primaries and felt disenchanted with the party’s leadership, eventually opting for the nearest alternative political parties.
It is subsequently upon the aforementioned premise that the several mushroom political oppositions to the People’s Democratic Party in Enugu State emerge and thrive in.

Every committed citizen who is passionate about the socio-political growth of this nation should go as far as engaging in independent and investigative journalistic voyage to discover the antecedents of all the contestants interested in all the elective positions as we match to the polling booths for the defining 2023 general elections.

Coming to Enugu State, one does not need to go through a stressful painstaking process before uncovering the sterling and amazing leadership embellishments of Dr. Peter Mba and his assembly of renowned technocrats that have been popularly nominated by the Enugu State People’s Democratic Party.

Therefore, it becomes part of our revered civil rights to go for the best when the opportunity is at our door step rather than being swayed by the rhetoric of politicians whose obvious lack of strategies speaks volumes of their ulterior and sinister motives. In exercising our franchise, we should be proud to vote significantly for Dr. Peter Mba for the governor of Enugu State because as we separate the chaff from the grain we understand and appreciate that there is no need going for the better when the best is possible.
