The All Progressives Congress on Wednesday expelled some of its members in the Enugu State chapter of the party.

The party expelled the former factional chairman of the party in Enugu State, Deacon Okey Ogbodo.

Others are Jonas Onouha, Rufus Nwagu and Barr. Chike Omeje.

Information revealed that they were expelled by the party for allegedly disobeying an order of the National Executive Committee of the APC.

This is coming after the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party expelled its former National Vice Chairman, South-south, and ex-acting factional Chairman Hilliard Eta.

The decision was part of resolutions taken during the NEC meeting which held at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja on last Tuesday.

Bibian Anekwe News reports the decision to suspend Eta was based on his refusal to withdraw a suit filed against the party in court after the party leadership had instructed that all such cases be withdrawn.
