……As the Health Team continue to tour Awgu LGA
GburusCare Initiative Continues her outreach tour in Awgu following a standing partnership with Awgu L.G.A. On Tuesday 7th September, Agwu-Central Development center recieved the Governor Ugwuanyi health team. The outreach’s scope was stretched to cover elderlies of Awgu Ward 1, Awgu Ward 2, Mgbowo Ward, Mgbidi/Nmaku Ward and Obeagu Ward that make up the Development Centre.
The elderlies of the Five Wards of Awgu-Central who were assembled at the Council Secretariat could not hold their joy as they continued to thank the Governor of Enugu State and the Chairman of Awgu Local Government for making their health need a priority.
The Chairman of Awgu L.G.A Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo who was present with some of political stakeholders from Awgu Local Government during the event at Sullivan Chime Hall, Awgu Local government Secretariat, reiterated his unwavering gratitude to His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the Governor of Enugu State for the show of love to the people of Awgu L.G.A, he also reaffirms his administrations resolve to continue to support and partner with His Excellency on Rural Development Projects in Awgu LGA.
Also with the Chairman during the exercise were: The Administrators of Awgu-Central and Mbanabo-North Development Centres Hon. Maximus Oha and Hon. Solomon Egbo respectively, The Chief Of Staff to the Executive Chairman of Awgu L.G, Hon. John Nwafor Ndubisi, The Information Officer Awgu L.G.A, Mrs Chinenye Anya, the Supervisor for Health, Hon. Mrs Nkiru Okafor, the SA to Awgu LG Chairman on Youths, Cmr. Joel Udefi and others who came to show solidarity to His Excellency and the Chairman of Awgu L.G.A.
