Over the past years,Enugu state civil servants have forgotten that there was something like promotion and promotional examination
Many governments had come and gone without any sign of workers promotions. Many workers have stayed on a particular grade level for years without any hope of advancing to another level.Workers have cried to governments of the past but to no avail. They carried lot of protests and industrial actions against the governments of the past but all proved abortive. They thought all about workers promotions cannot come to limelight again in this state.
Immediately Ugwuanyi’s administration came on-board , what’s seems to be impossible in the eyes of all the civil servants in Enugu state, was made possible. Gov Ugwuanyi (MR FULFILMENT ) set the ball rolling, lifted the embargo and ordered ministries and parastatals to conduct promotional examinations for all the civil servants and promote the successful ones.
It was like a dream. Workers could not believe their eyes that one day promotion examination would be conducted in Enugu state. Thanks to HIS EXCELLENCY RT. HON IFEANYI UGWUANYI
Promotional examinations were conducted and civil servants were promoted to different new grade levels. For the first time over the years Enugu state civil servants smiled again
Since 2015 till date, workers have been receiving their promotions. Non stop.
