We have seen in the past most leaders through their manifestos promised to do even the unimaginable to the electorates and ended up not completing even the lesser projects.
The Governor of Enugu State Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi(MR FULFILMENT) was thought to be one of those leaders when he came up with A 4points Agenda to his administration. Many feared that this to usual to politicians, hence always abandon the masses after winning the election Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi with his introspective nature, fulfilled his agendas of >Employment Generation,
>Social services and good governance,
>Rural Development,
>Security and Social Justice; and added more to it.
As the name Gburugburu implies… the workaholic Governor has gone round the state and touched every needs of the people from the urban down to the rural areas.
The Enugu state Vocational Rehabilitation and center Emene was recently rehabilitated and renovated by the tireless governor of Enugu state. This reconstruction and renovation of the center creates an enabling environment for the Destitutes in the center.
“In 2014 I did my internship in the Vocational and Rehabilitation center. I discovered a lot of loopholes in the center. The physically challenged does not have enough facilities for their learning and creation, while the mentally impaired does not have a serene environment for their wellbeing and recovering “. Rt Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has changed the face of the center, by renovating and reequipping the Male and Female Hostels to be more conducive for the inmates. He also fenced the entire institution to give the people therein even more security; he’s made donation of Laptops, photocopying machines, computers,Printers and Generator set for the ICT Department. He also equipped the Shoes and Leather department which have already started production of shoes, bags etc. It is no secret that Mr. Fulfilment has the plan to take beggars off the street of Enugu and put them back where they’d get help; hence the rehabilitated and reequipping of the vocational center in Emene.
Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has made Enugu State Safer destination for local and foreign Investors through his commitment to job creation in the state. This is why Enugu was ranked higher on Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) in May, 2020. This was as released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
It is no doubt that most people of Enugu state especially the youths, benefited and benefitting from the Ugwuanyi Employment Scheme which has given hundreds and thousands of people job in the state.
1,000 youths were employed to keep Enugu Clean and 150 residents employed to control traffic in 2019, the formation of Forest Guides and recruitment of over 5000 people to secure our forests against especially the Herders. Over the years more people had gain employment through Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi employment scheme which created to curb the rate of unemployment in the state.
Enugu State is now one of the finest and peaceful States in the country. A credit to the assiduous effort of Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. Even the deaf now hears the name “GBURU-GBURU” as his good works speaks volume even beyond the state.
The governor, rehabilitated, rebuilt, reconstructed and repainted 233 Bus-Stops Shelters and Roads Rails in Enugu metropolis.
No wonder the Southeast governors forum chose to elect Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as her Chairman; perhaps, to enables his counterparts emulate his leadership style.
The people of Enugu State are calling for Constitutional Amendment to enable Mr. Fulfillment stay a little longer in Enugu as governor. On the contrary, this good governance and peaceful atmosphere Enugu is enjoying today, should not be limited to ndi Enugu alone but to be extended to the entire nation if Gburus clinch the Presidential seat come 2023.
