The Executive Governor of Enugu State, Chairman Southeast Governor’s Forum and leader of the PDP Southeast Zone, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi (GburuGburu) Dunu 1 na Orba, has been lauded by the President of the Nigerian Senate and Chairman of the National Assembly Commission, Distinguished Sen. Dr. Ahmad Lawan, for his visionary and modest leadership role for the people of Enugu State, and Nigeria as a nation, such as an exemplary. And call for a national unity, cohesion and total economic reintegration of the entire political and cultural zones, into one entity. (Nigeria)
Dr. Lawan, made this assertions when he attended the 10th anniversary of the death of Senator Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu’s father, late Chief Johnson Uzor Nsiegbe Kalu, held at Igbere, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, the Senate President expressed over joy that Gov. Ugwuanyi was patriotic enough to feature at the event in total solidarity with the family of the Senate Chief Whip, H.E, Dist. Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, in spite of the party lines and political differences.
Recall, that the same scenario occurred sometimes in Enugu, when some highly notable Nigerians from the northern part of the country, came in solidarity visit to the governor at government house Enugu, on national security matters. It was thereto, affirmed by our northern delegations from the presidency and amongst, some revered traditional institutions, also from the north, that were part of that august visit to His Excellency Gov. Ugwuanyi, that the government and people of Nigeria are very happy with the governor, over his peace initiatives, political disposition, national character, his well taught out idea for a national dialogue, political stability, cohesion and regional integrations.
It was largely understood, that Gov. Ugwuanyi, has represents a modern Nigeria, and stand as pillar for a new Nigeria. Therefore, it became a big plus for the people of Enugu and her government, that the state has now received a national and global recognitions, which positioned her as an interested state for the leadership of the Country, come 2023.
Undoubtedly, Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, is a symbol of national unity, peace, good governance and above all, a detrablized Nigerian. He is the only man at the Country’s present dying moment, that can be entrusted the leadership of the nation for national cohesion, regional integration, political stability and service delivery, if Nigeria must remain as a single entity. Because we cannot afford to witness disintegration of the Country, and another civil war.
Enugu State is in the hands of God.
