All over advanced societies of the world, education remains the bedrock of socio-political and economic development. To gain a deeper understanding into what values and impact of education in the societal fabrics, it is better to look at societies without an underlying intellect and knowledge to drive it’s economy, politics and the rest. In fact, it remains to be seen how advanced societies have hit their level of advancement in all facets of human endeavors without robust educational development.
This is the reason why parents have continued to persevere to sponsor their wards into various educational pursuits despite biting economic challenges. Government on its part, is expected to provide positive amenities and facilities that could leverage the interest of children into education and by extension enable them to have more than a rewarding experiences while at it.
Thank God, Enugu state has been blessed with another celebral scholar who understands the value of education in the upliftment of a backward society. It cannot be argued that Gov Ndubusi Mbah is infused with a dominant enterprising gene of sort. I have observed in our Governor, a man who is eager and almost in a hurry to leave positive legacies whatever it will take him to.
Gov. Mbah is one man who truly understands that he is in government not for frolicking but to fulfill his social contract with the people of the state.
As an outstanding scholar, His Excellency, Dr Peter Mbah certainly and deeply appreciates the ageless developmental and statistical reality that the rate of the development of every state or nation is directly proportional to the level of the educational growth and development of the state or nation and therefore did not to hesitate to kick off the construction of some massive infrastructural facilities in the education sector.
Even the treasured oral literature of our traditional communities have it that one demonstrates his good attitudes right from his home and therefore, none should be surprised that His Excellency, Dr. Peter Mbah, the executive governor of Enugu as early as possible has kicked off the construction of massive educational facilities, ranging from modern classroom blocks to the acquisition of latest laboratory equipments and consumables and office complex in various communities of Enugu State.
It is also worthy of note that the government of His Excellency, Dr Peter Mbah is applying the most standard building materials in all the projects to be executed by his administration and are obviously handled by renowned and integrity conscious engineering professionals in order to provide amenities that can stand the test of time.
In inference, my brief exposition of this new beginning is founded on the fact of my confidence in the government of Dr. Peter Mbah and has once more been reimbursed by his latest interventions and projects in the education industry starting from the scratch and heading to the top and for that I am inevitably inclined to believe that truly OUR TOMORROW IS FINALLY HERE.
