GOV. PETER MBAH’S ADMINISTRATION IN ENUGU STATE : THE SUSPENSE AND FACTS.

It was Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of America and a legendary political philosopher that rightly posited that ” the ballot is stronger than the bullet” and the rational electorates in Enugu State have spoken their minds through the fundamental energy of their votes resulting in the celebrated emergence of a charismatic leader in the person of His Excellency, Gov Peter Mba to pilot the affairs of the Coal City state for the next four years.

As obtainable in every normal political contest, winners and losers must emerge. While it is not easy for the loser to accept defeat, it is incumbent on the loser still to swallow whichever pride and let go so that the wheel of progress can continue in earnest. While it is important to appeal to the losers to join hands in the building of the state since the entire objective of seeking for political office is to build and develop a society, it is still not heart warming that the die hard opposition elements have kept to it by laying ambush to puncture the flying balloons of the winners of the elections. And as expected, some of the oppositions are primarily occupied with the dominantly inordinate desire to tarnish the image of a government that is just at its infant stage, just to score cheap political goals. Majority of the electorates that massively voted for the newly inaugurated government are highly motivated and expectant of a graceful delivery of the much anticipated dividends of democracy, thereby, suggesting an atmosphere rented by a rising suspense but my nerve and confidence in this present administration springs from my age-long streams of consciousness of Gov. Peter Mba’s sterling background and pedigrees with regards to quality implementation of policies and timely execution of ideas in his areas of expertise.

In addition to the aforementioned submission, I am compelled to afford the aplomb and fortitude to genuinely stick to the programs of Gov. Peter Mba’s government each time I remember the re-echoeing urgency in his Acceptance Speech that they are “… in a hurry…” to bring to reality landmark developments to the state as they are prepared to “… frontally confront the infrastructural deficits in all parts of the state…”
I am also very buoyant and sanguine that as he categorically stated that in his novel vision of government ” … no one will be left behind… ” as much sparks of a canvas painting of an emerging all-inclusive government that will actually be all-time.

Therefore, in spite of the expected initial distractions from some of the bellyaching and crabbing rivals to sway the stirring of the newly inaugurated government in Enugu State, I am so upbeat and optimistic that the suspense surrounding the foundations foregrounding the early stages of every government will eventually be unbound in the result – oriented programs and policies that will define the all-important government of Gov. Peter Mba and his technocratic cabinet due to the sufficiently oiled take off to ensure that TRULY “OUR TOMORROW IS HERE. ”

Long live His Excellency, Gov. Peter Mba.

Long live the Good People of Enugu State.
