The Executive Governor of Enugu state, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi ( Mr Fulfilment) reunited with his best friend and predecessor, H.E Sullivan I. Chime, amidst cheers and excitements from the general public at the traditional marriage of a daughter of the Deputy Governor of Enugu state, Hon Barr. Mrs. Cecilia Ezeilo. Recall that Mrs Ezeilo’s daughter were today got married to her soulmate which had in attendance, the Enugu political class, some business moguls and the civil society organization. Our findings, reports that H.E, the governor was received at the occasion by the his predecessor, and former governor of the state, Barr. Sullivan I. Chime, who was equally in attendance for the occasion. It became a galore of celebrations for the guests at the marriage ceremony, seeing how the Enugu two very important leaders were busy acknowledging pleasantries from each other. This is very exemplary because we had never witnessed such assemblage of having an Enugu ex governor seated by the side of a sitting governor, in a such very regarded function in the past. Such has never existed in the annals of Enugu political history.
Gov. Ugwuanyi has deminstrated his love for one another for a peaceful coexistence amongst the rich, the middle class, politicians, including the poor and the artisans, in the state. This is a call for sober reflections within the rank and file of the politicians we have in the state and the nation at the moment.
Significantly, what happened at the Deputy governor’s daughter marriage ceremony, today, in Ezeagu should be a very good lessons to many, especially, those self seeking leaders whose their continued quests for power elongation have been threatening the exisiting peace in the state.
And in the words of President Goodluck Jonathan, “No blood of any Nigerian worth his political ambition” Ugwuanyi is living example of the above state, credited to the Fmr. President Jonathan. And i hope other politicians, learns from it.
However, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has remained the only political leader in the history of Nigeria that have no political or social arch enemies, regards to playing politics. He has maintained that everyone should live peaceful in the neighbourhood, with a common understanding of Unity, to pursue an Epistemological Dialogue. Gov. Ugwuanyi, has remained a peace ambassador, Worthy of emulations, and whose leadership disposition, does not encourage discrimination of any sorts.
Meanwhile, it is very pertinent to say that, Dr. Ifeanyichukwu Ugwuanyi, the Executive Governor of Enugu state have through his humility , well experienced and purposeful leardership, brought into existence, an everlasting peace and tranquility to Ndi Enugu state.
Enugu state is in the hands of God.
