As a tested tool with enormous positive output, the viability of an economic system depends largely on the candid cooperation between the people and their government. Therefore, any government that has part of its goals; developing and growing the economy of the people must prioritise the harnessing of the peoples resources through training, research and sponsorship.
Consequently, the people of China understood the leverages inherent in encouraging small and medium enterprises when their government opted to invest in the development of human resources through the sponsorship of individual business ideas and skills and today the Chinese economy is tagged THE ASIAN TIGER . So, inevitably, Governor IFEANYI Ugwuanyi with a penetrating focus on the viability of his state economy would leave no stone unturned to ensure that the Coal City’s economy would enjoy every required impetus for industrialization which is always central to every economic force and this he obviously intends to achieve through small and medium enterprises development in addition to other operational strategies.
Subsequently, it would not surprise any earnest critic of Governor IFEANYI Ugwuanyi’s leadership model to learn about the recent and ongoing distribution of six thousand, six hundred and six (6,606) Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) certificates to beneficiaries of the state sponsored company registrations as the state approves the CAC Formalization and Matching Grant for 2021 Budget of the Enugu SME Centre. The implementation of CAC Formalization and Matching Grant would result in business owners and interested youths to register their businesses and as well qualify for some financial incentives from the government which is a welcome development.
It is also worthy to note that the ongoing issuance of CAC certificates is implemented through the Enugu State SME Centre chaired by a sound and youthful compos mentis; Hon. Arinze Chilo-Offiah; the Special Adviser to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on Small and Medium Enterprises Development.
