Peace is a vital tool in the society which aids economic development that stabilizes the economy of such society. A society without peace is doom to fail and nothing good will ever come out of it. Absence of peace distabilizes the economy of such society and this is the reason why visionary leaders made peace their cardinal objective as they steer the affairs of the society. Governor Ugwuanyi administration in Enugu State had maintained such stability in the State and today, Enugu State is one of the most peaceful state in Nigeria with great economic viability. The State had attracted investors in the State and there is ease of doing business without fear of loosing ones investment. Our amiable governor( Mr Fulfilment) had stabilized the economy of the state through boosting IGR of the state; that today, Enugu State can pay salaries and engage in massive infrastructural development without hoping on Federal allocation and this is possible because of the dynamic leadership of governor Ugwuanyi in the State.
The administration consolidated on the achievement of his predecessors which is a rare character among the Nigerian politicians who would have started casting aspersion to the then governors trying to assassinate their characters and images in the state. He continued adoring them for their various contributions in the development of the state and never for a day speak ill of them.
The leadership disposition of Ugwuanyi has suggested that he is the kind of man to occupy the number one seat of the president of Nigeria if PDP zone the slot to the south east in 2023 or even Vice President ceteris paribus. This is because of the detribalistic nature of his leadership in the State. He remains the image of new Nigeria Corporate Existence and the champion of coexistence of Nigerian people.
He completed all the ongoing projects of the then governors and build his economic action plan on what they initiated. Governor Ugwuanyi peacebuilding mission in Enugu state will remain indenible and history will be very kind to him. In delivering his development strategies, he included all the communities without looking at the number of votes they gave him during the poll. The surprised part of his administration is that he brings development even to the door steps of the administration oppositions because he never see anyone in the state as opposition and extend hands of friendship to all.
In religion, he accommodated all faiths in the state and brought them closer to his government. His tolerance is second to none and has bridged denominational politics into one Christian umbrella which has helped the administration in achieving greater heights in peacebuilding.
He sees everyone as mmadu and never discriminate anyone no matter one’s background. His administration has increased the spirit of mmekoritalism in the state where everyone one sees each other as brothers. This is the kind of leadership Nigeria deserved at this critical time of our existential history; a leader with the attitude of akidi ama oke ala.
Ndi Enugu, let us support the leadership of our dear governor for more robust action in peacebuilding mission of our governor. A support to governor Ugwuanyi is a support for good governance.
