His Excellency, Rt. Hon Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, (Gburugburu) is a man of faith with a humble beginning, who rose from a professional insurance world, the systematic approach to securing for the future, to the politics of Nigeria. He first sort for the mandate of Udenu people in 2002 or thereabouts, to govern them at the council as a local government chairman, after building all bridges across the length of the towns and communities that sum up the entire populace of the local government and the state in general which gave rise to his genuine, deep-rooted relationship with the former governor of Enugu state under his leadership, H.E Dr Chimaroke Nnamani MD. FACOG, together with His Rayal Majesty the former PDP State Chairman, Enugu and Prince Sam. Ejiofor who hold the axe of power under the then governor. Our fact checks revealed that Ugwuanyi’s humility and symposure propelled him to the National Assembly, Federal House of Representatives, when he represented a federal constituency instead of a local government where he was denied the mandate, freely given by his people. His Excellency, Ugwuanyi maintained his calmness, doyenity and peaceful disposition in allowing peace reign in Udenu as those who ganged up against him were only spearheaded the council in a shortlived term. And grace empowered him to resuscitate those back to life in the present day of our political trajectory. What a life of lesson?
Humility, as an act of favour located the governor to run and represented his people at the federal level, ceding him the political opportunity and divine mandate to play part in the national political landscape of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2003. This, ordinarily wouldn’t had come true according to his adversaries, having succeeded maligning his candidacy when he contested for the chairmanship position, but little did they know God was taking him somewhere in the future to determine who would be local government chairmen, then he was denied of. Isn’t God so wonderful, merciful in his action and act of divinity and judgment, regarding to political power? Today, he is the governor of Enugu state, taking firm control of the mandate of over 4.5million population to administer good governance, justice, equity and fairness. This is the real definition of grace.
Gov. Ugwuanyi as a child of grace who is decorated with an absolute powers to decide the faith of men in governance; And according to David Eastin “politics is defined as the seizure of state powers, the consolidation of state powers and the judicious use and deployment of act of governance. H.E, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s crescendo in the politics of Nigeria is termed in bringing hope and future for the downtrodden. Nigeria has been enmeshed with all kinds of crises, such as; economic monopolies by the few individuals, leadership crisis orchestrated by the lack of vision and insincerity by the current administers of Nigeria economy. The country is largely faced with the problem of insecurity and political marginalization of sort. To this effect, Nigerians will no longer wait to have this great political icon and real gem to return her country to the path of glory, greatness and ensure our recognized national unity. This is very possible when we speak truth and see ourselves as one, irrespective of the tribes, religions and languages. Our country is full of great potentials with lots of hope and realizations in our collective dreams, and the process to harmonizing this tributes, is in our hands. Our people joining hands together to enthrone this man of humility, full of energies for the greater service of our nationhood. Our common national heritage could be better harnessed with Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as President with a Nigerian blood. Nigeria deserves the best, and with the current reality of our political crises, the best is yet to come. But assuredly, 2023 is the new hope of Nigerians for her both political, religious and political liberties, under the unity formation of Ugwuanyi’s presidency.
Ugwuanyi’s politics of national cohesion; this is a well mean fact that the governor of Enugu state, His Excellency, Rt. Hon Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has undoubtedly, demonstrated enough resolve in his administrative capacity, prowess and discharge in relating to every Nigerian, irrespective of whose age, background, state of origin, religion and class. It has been classified that the life of the Enugu governor, is for the public good and unity of every Nigerian. It’s of note that H.E Ugwuanyi, remain the only Nigerian governor from the history whose election was widely adjudged as the most peaceful, credible and transparent in the annals of our electoral umpire. This is a clear evidence that he is not only loved by the Eastern states of the federation, but by all Nigerian people.
Gov Ugwuanyi’s relations to all religious community under his watch as a leader of Enugu state government; recall that the Hausa/Fulani community in Enugu state has never in anyway, been left behind by the administration of H.E Rt. Hon Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, this is an uncommon feat yet to be broken by any other Nigerian leader. The divine administration of the governor has ushered in a watershed in the religious harmony between the citizens and non state citizens of Enugu. In fact, the governor has always been in hand to celebrate with Hausa/Fulani and other ethnic groups domiciled in Enugu in every festive period. His administration also constructed a good road network within the residencies of the non state actors by making them feel important and become more part of the state than any other. This vision can only be attributed to a no less detrabilized Nigerian who considers national importance above mere regional sentiment.
Gov Ugwuanyi’s crescendo in national politics, is pure a rise for a hope of greater tomorrow. The journey to rescue our country begins with me and you with an option of H.E, Rt.
