The Executive governor of Enugu state, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has continued to press further in ensuring that Enugu remains the capital city of the old eastern region, through his giant strides in the sectors of the state economy. Such that our health system has received a big boost. Recall that in 2015, before the election of the governor, our general health care systems had remain in shambles to the effect that so many lives had been lost. Chief Ugwuanyi became a governor and today, the story has changed for good. Our people now attend good hospitals, medical bills paid by the administration of His Excellency, the governor. A good example, was when the governor paid a visit to the UNTH, Ituku Ozalla to see the hospitalized school children who was involved in a car collusion in Awgu local government. Dr. Ugwuanyi, upon that divine visit, settled a backlogs of medical bills involving a good number of both indigene and non indigenes of the state.
However, His Excellency, the governor, revitalized and equipped the moribund Enugu ultra modern diagnostic centre to a world class hospital, which is today designated for the response of COVID19 related cases as an Isolation centre for treatments, and other communicable health disease control.
Governor Ugwuanyi has also brought back to life, the dilapidated old Enugu Colliery hospital, located at Enugu north local government area, the New Market/Ngwo axis, to international standard. This was a hospital, so neglected and abandoned by severhal successive governments in Enugu state. Today, the administration of Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has revive that infrastructures to help boost the economy of the state, and also through that conducive health coverage, save lives. The administration, also embarked on type 3 hospitals, across the state, attending to almost 11 local governments, out of the 17 area councils in the state, within the shortest period of the new birthed idea.
Governor Ugwuanyi’s undying love for the progress and development of Enugu state, has left him with no choice of taking infrastructures, down to the most forgotten rural communities. A good number of our rural access roads has received infrastructural face-lift to meet up with the international standard. The Ugwuanyi’s administration has constructed not less than 100,000.00 Kilometers of rural roads with drainages and long standing bridges, across the state, since its inception to governance. These rural communities have today become a developing cities with an activities of commercialization ongoing.
Undoubtedly, Ugwuanyi’s genuine quest for a better Enugu has resulted to his administration’s resolve to revolutionalized our agriculture, to also boost food productions. Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has brought before the state executive council, the need for the state to diversify her economy through agricultural revolutions. This has received a wide acknowledgement and commendations by the general public, which immediately reflected on the reviving of Enugu Ada Rice, in Uzo Uwani, to aide food productions in large quantities by projecting the state in the future as one of the states for agricultural exports. Through this agricultural innovation, our teaming youths have been engaged in multiple rice productions and other agricultural produce. Therefore, its on record that the state government under Gov. Ugwuanyi, has equally made a provisions, some high level of advanced tractors for formers to easy farming seasons, this the state has distributed through the 17 local governments area council in Enugu. The government has also advanced our agriculture by provisions of a good number of seedlings for dry season planting and cultivation.
Interestingly, His Excellency, the governor, has brought the state to standstill, in area of Peace and Security. The administration of Ugwuanyi, in its resolve has continue to ensure that the lives and property of the people of are given adequate attentions. Because where there is peace, there is also expected to be rises in progress and developments. Gov. Ugwuanyi has shown that his undying love for Ndi Enugu is beyond what anyone can say.
