When the Chinese government decided against all odds to lift its people above poverty level to the level of affluence, it quickly recognised as the rewards inherent in small and medium enterprises development and invested heavily in the sector and today, the result is clear. The Chinese people riding significantly on the development of small businesses succeeded in powering the fastest growing economy in the world, competing with the economy of the United States of America. Today in Enugu State, we now have a leader being surrounded by technocrats that understand the prospects of SME development and keep oiling the wheels of economic prosperity through innovative and engaging programs just like the recent one tagged ESAM Plus meaning Enugu Skills Acquisition Masterclass.
The excitement trailing the ESAM Plus initiative is informed by the activities that would mark the program as it is designed to provide free training and coaching for potential entrepreneurs who are interested in running legitimate businesses in several sectors of our economy. The program which is implemented through the office of the creative SPA to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on SME Development and Promotion, Hon. Arinze Chilo-Offiah in partnership with Capitis Global Ventures Limited is drafted to cover a lot of participants as it would run both online and offline.
Another aspect of the program that draws attention is the fact that it is structured to cover significant sectors like agriculture, skilled artisans, fashion and design, leadership training and even entertainment. The interested participants would be paired with some of those that have earned outstanding accolades in their respective careers and are willing to share their experiences with those willing to take their paths. Therefore, the program will be a combination of both masterclass and mentorship affairs and would run both online and offline arranged to be delivered in two sessions every month with the first session having Kickstarted on June 12 with fashion and designing.
With such programs being sponsored by the unique governor of Enugu State, the political detractors in the state would exhaust their options in scavenging through every dustbin of unfounded diatribes to daint the towering image of the amiable governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi but the governor of the people; GBURU GBURU would always find swift means of debunking such destructive criticisms through the innovativeness of his Leadership programs and policies as his recent outreach for a positive engagement of potential fashion designers and entrepreneurs in oth
er sensitive sectors through the Enugu Skills Acquisition Masterclass (ESAM Plus) once again vindicates MR FULFILLMENT’s undiluted intention to put Enugu State at the forefront of economic development and versatility.
The ESAM Plus is designed to be implemented through the functional and productive office of the creative Senior Personal Adviser to Governor Ugwuanyi on Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), Hon. Chilo-Offiah with the overiding objective of providing free access to standard mentoring in sensitive sectors of the economy and businesses for successful operation of world-class training and mentorship program. The successful implementation of the program is expected to take a lot of Ndi Enugu who have fantastic dreams of thriving in their respective careers out of the street and would without any iota of doubt generate positive ripple effects in the viability of the state’s economy. Carrying out the project would in no little measure alleviate the burgeoning poverty staring some citizens at face, possibly resulting from the after-effects of the novel Covid 19.
