Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi : Unraveling A Mystique

Nearly, every human discipline is enmeshed in and inextricably conceptual quagmire and endless definitional imprecision. More of this scholarly ambiguities seems to share peculiar ties with the parlance of jurisprudence where a quantum concepts resist universal definitional affirmation. In extreme cases, to stamp objectivity and precision, some definitions end up in cosmetic surplus ages couched in unexciting terms. What has been a way out of this academic impasse is pitching tent with any available school of thought espousing one’s beliefs and views in most eloquent form.

There was also a humorous account of 6 blind men who paid expository visit to a gaint elephant, each describing what part of the largest mammal’s body he felt. This tale is quite in the market place and need not be reproduced whole, however the jurisprudential didactics embedded in the story is that the 6 blind men observers were correct in their respective accounts of what the elephant looked like which was largely informed by the position each stood in discovering the elephant.

If both concepts and animals are soaked in definitional controversies what then shall become of human being, the most difficult to handle in all God’s creatures. Man is an object of intrigues and variants socio-political construct.
The Author of the bestselling book”48 laws of Power” Robert Green opined that ” Humans are machines of interpretation and explanation…” and Luis XIV of France was too a myth for his subjects that they laboured under egregious misconception about him even as he occasionally uttered meaningless phrases. Same time, he was the husband of his throne to many people.

In Enugu State, Governor Ugwuanyi is a sort of an enigma, susceptible to multi interpretations by many people who either by their own undoing or ignorance have failed to come to terms with the true character substance of the governor. Some for mischievous reasons have allowed themselves to lumber in absolute misperception of the governor’s intrepidity and even keel in handling delicate issues of strategic weight. They keep trumpeting from Galilee to Nazareth what they obviously misconceive as weakness which one of the greatest Nigerian, Femi Fani Kayode(FFK) one time former Minister of Aviation and a renowned human rights crusader, upon his recent visit to Gov. Ugwuanyi described as “growing from strength to strength” since Ugwuanyi came onboard the seat of governance.

An illustration perhaps would beam more lights on this misperception roaming the mind of many. The Germans are by history unpopular for their racial supremacism with the sadists Adolf Hitler as the ringleader which cascaded into inhuman decimation of the Jews amongst them widely referred to as the Holocaust . No argument, Hitler was revered as the foremost ironman by lily-livered Germans who cowed to his fisticuff. Surprisedly, none would feel any ounce of attachment or association with the name which has come to be blackened into terror and inhuman callousness.
Even biblical Herod was much touted a man of his words but none till this date bears the name Herod.

What of our erstwhile maximum ruler the “innocuos” Sani Abacha, the most unfazed Military General whose name has continued to be dragged into infamy by same people who would quickly take him for medical checks if he had been overwhelmingly lenient on socio-political engagements especially during those days of national trials. Today, Abacha has no page in history chronicling anything to his favour.

About 2010 down to 2015, same erroneous beliefs whirled round Former President Goodluck Jonathan when the orgy of fratricidal bloodletting reigned unchecked into electioneering to which the patriot in the interest of humanity bowed out of national duty. His celebrated level-headedness during and after the polls did never sit well with some quarters who delighted greatly in flaring his divine hamstring from resorting to routine ungodly manipulation. Now that the country entrusted in the hands of those who talks tough intermittently, what has been our course?

Baltazar Gracian once wrote that “Men of great abilities are slow to act”, this advantageous slowness is what throws confusionist into abyss of irretrievable disarray. Many state governors are dreaded as fearless Golliath yet their environs are being assailed by security and economic threats from unrecruited David’s.

One of the potent prayer point which needs to be weaponized is to barrage God to make all office holders weak as Gburugburu so that we shall enjoy tranquility in the day and two eyes snapped at dusk. Let them be weak, that our economic fortune may grow spiral bounds, inherited debts defrayed and abandoned projects brought to completion; our educational system dramatically improved from years of ruins.
This weakness is our world desideratum as curatives to hooliganism, unemployment, banditry and terrorism. Lifting benighted lives is also part of it.

I love weak leadership that circumnavigate the perspiration of masses wallowing in insalubrious state of existence to noble livelihoods. Enugu State recently has been turned into beehive of security conventions by Nigerian security top brass, flocking in and out of the Lion Building under Governor Ugwuanyi the weak leader that outsmarts the overrated powerful man.
Ugwuanyi is a military strategist who wins in the drawing table before the whistle honks for physical flexing of muscles.

Enugu State is in the hands of God
