It is both an honor and a privilege to answer a clarion call especially from the people.
When Governor Ugwuanyi took over the mantle leadership of Enugu state on the 29th May 2015, there was an overwhelming joy and excitement in all the 17 local government across the state. The governor swiftly handed Enugu state into the hands of God for total reformation, emancipation and for his will to prevail in all the affairs of the state.
Since then, all the sectors which were left comatose and dilapidated came back to life and as governor Ugwuanyi unveiled his blueprint for Ndi Enugu , the inspirations became so amazing, impressive and enthusiastic.
Nwa David Ugwuanyi have through his leadership style given visible imprints both in urban and rural areas, in social welfare services, physical infrastructure and strategic developments. Rt. Honorable Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s developmental strides in all sectors can not be over estimated.
Governor Ugwuanyi as a realistic and believer of good governance, who emerged as the authentic leader of PDP South East zone and the CEO of Enugu state came into power with a change mantra to breath life into the strategic dilapidated government infrastructures and sectors particularly the health sector.
He began massive rehab of Health centres as well as the construction of new ultra modern hospital fully equipped. In education sector as well, constructed and rehabilitated more government primary and secondary as well as government owned tertiary institutions across the state. In the area of road construction and rehab, governor Ugwuanyi has been a potent force to reckon with.
Security issues has remained as strategic in the building of modern democracy and keeping citizens protected to contribute to the economic growth of the society. This has no doubt propelled His Excellency Rt Hon Dr Lawrence Ifeanyichukwu Ugwuanyi to invest heavily in the area of security to ensure that peace and security of lives and property thrives to forster and stimulate serious economic growth. Governor Ugwuanyi no doubt has been so exceptional in his governance approach.
The Tourism sector has equally received a tremendous boost from the administration of governor Ugwuanyi which culminated in the winning of the first position by the state during a tourism festival which took place in Edo state last year (First in History).
Governor Ugwuanyi is a prayer answered to NDI Enugu state because of his Competency in leadership, Credence, Perfectionist disposition, Courageous in performance, Trustworthy in Emulation, Incomparable, Credulity, Probity, and Proactiveness.
Governor Ugwuanyi have given the people the opportunity to understand what it means more than in the pursuit of professional breakthroughs and has offered a cost-effective governance to NDI Enugu, as the construction of the first ever flyover in Enugu state is ongoing at the T junction in Abakpa under the administration of the Best Achiever, Best Performing Governor in Nigeria, Best Silent Achiever, the only Mr projects, (GBURUS OF AFRICA) .
The tech innovation centre which was recently inaugurated in the state have reassured the youths of Enugu state that the future belongs to them.
The Enugu state Lion Business Park which just came on stream embodies courage and visionary leadership to lift the coal city state from the duldrum.
It is a resounding hope for good governance, equity, fairness, transparency and tranquility.
When Peoples Prayers are Answered, it is important to give overwhelming glory to God Almighty and thank Him for His many gifts and blessings.
Ndi Enugu are saying thank you Lord for answered prayers through Gburu Gburu’s innovative leadership. Thank you Gburu-Gburu too for answering the clarion call of your people.
Enugu state is in the hands of God.
