The events of Friday 20th August 2021 had the people of Ogbede and and environs rejoicing as the team of GburusCare Health Professionals arrived Ogbede Health Center to tend to the Health and Medical needs of the old persons of Igbo-Etiti-Central Development Centre in Igbo-Etiti L.G.A.
Recall that for the past one month, the GburusCare Health team has been traversing length and breadth of Igbo-Etiti Local Government meeting the Health needs of senior citizens following a working partnership with the Hon. Mrs Nkechi Ugwu Oju led administration.
Addressing the GburusCare Media, The Chairman of Igbo-Etiti L.G.A, Hon. (Barr) Mrs Nkechi Ugwu-Oju on Friday, expressed her gratitude towards His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s Rural Development Strides and Peaceful Administration. Hon. Ugwu-Oju on behalf of the people of Igbo-Etiti, reassures her continued support and commitment to the good governance of Gburugburu. According to her, the Governor’s rural health intervention has in no small measure benefitted her people of Igbo-Etiti Local Government. In her vote of thanks, Hon. Ugwu-Oju appreciated the committed efforts of the GburusCare Volunteer Team in the rural communities and beseeched the almighty God to continue to guide them as they traverse terrains rendering selfless services to the senior citizens as directed by the compassionate Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
The Director General of GburusCare Initiative, Sct. Darlington Ugwuegbe commended the Lady Mayor and the good people of Igbo-Etiti for their hospitable disposition towards the GburusCare team throughout their stay in Igbo-Etiti. He reaffirms GCI’s commitment to living out Gov. Ugwuanyi’s vision of effective and ready health care for aged people of Enugu State.
The GburusCare Initiative in action and vision remains an active demonstration of Gov. Ugwuanyi’s unceasing love and commitment to the welfare of ndi Enugu.
