Hon. Pedro Nwankwo Re-Affirms His Commitment To The Welfare Of The People Of Awgu L.G.A As Gburus-Care Initiative Visits Mbanabo-North Development Center.

……the Chairman of Awgu L.G.A, Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo, has continued to care for the health needs of the elderlies in Awgu Local Government through his joint effort with Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s Free Healthcare Services for the aged (The GburusCare Initiative).

The Free Medical Services which was flagged-off at Onoli community on the 2nd of September has covered the four (4) Development Centres that make up Awgu L.G.A, namely: Awgu-Central Central, Anike, Mbanabo-South and Mbanabo-North Development Centres. The exercise which was completed at Central School Ihe on the 25th of September witnessed a large turn up of elderlies from Ihe, Agbogugu, Ogbaku, Agbudu, Ituku and Isuawa in Mbanabo-North Development Centre who came to benefit from the nouveau humanitarian services administered by the GburusCare Volunteer Health and Medical Professionals comprised of Doctors, Medical Laboratory Scientists, Dentists, Physiotherapists, Nurses and Pharmacists.

Present to witness the Mbanabo-North Development Centre Free Medical Exercise were: the Chairman of Awgu L.G.A, Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo and the Host Administrator, Hon. Solomon Egbo (Oba). Others include: the Supervisor for Health Awgu LG, Hon. Nkiru Okafor, the Supervisor for Finance Awgu LG, Hon. Gideon Okolo, the Supervisor for Works Awgu, Hon. Ikenna Basil Okolie, the SPA Special Duties Awgu LG, Hon. John Ndubuisi Nwafor, the HOD Health Awgu LGA, Mr Chụka Eze, the Secretary PDP Awgu LGA, Hon. Okoye Cajetan etc.

Speaking to the newsmen on Saturday, Hon. Pedro Nwankwo expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the members of GburusCare team, for their selfless humanitarian efforts towards making the Awgu L.G.A Free Medical Outreach a huge success and prayed that the almighty God will continue to reward them accordingly. He also re-iterated his commitment and continued support to Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s good governance, rural health interventions and the welfare of the good people of Awgu L.G.A.
