Former spokesman of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has reacted to the demolition of a restaurant by Governor Nasir El-Rufai-led government over alleged plan to hold sex party.
The former presidential aide noted that the house of the state Governor’s son, Bello, should also be demolished following his threat to gang-rape a woman.
Bello stirred reactions on social media when he threatened to gang rape the mother of a Twitter user. He, however, apologised for his threat.
Reno in his reaction said, “If sex parties should lead to demolition, then Nasir @nelrufai’s son’s house should be the first to be demolished. We all saw when the young man threatened to gang-rape an Igbo man’s mother, and even worse, to pass her around to his friends.”
“That is even worse than a sex party. That is a rape party. Hypocrisy! Demolishing the alleged ‘sex party’ hotel just shows a total absence of the rule of law in Kaduna.”
Meanwhile, the owner of Asher Kings and Queens Restaurant in Kaduna State, Aisha Mercy Yakubu, has headed to court over the demolition of her establishment.
Bibian Anekwe News had reported that the Kaduna State Government demolished the restaurant for planning to host a proposed sex party and arrested the organizers of the said event.
But in a statement on Saturday, Yakubu berated the state government for demolishing her restaurant and failing to carry out a proper investigation before carrying out the demolition.
