Nigerian journalist and blogger Kemi Olunloyo has stated that the names of the victims in the Lagos panel are not real.
In a post on her Instagram handle, the controversial journalist maintained that she could not find the names in the panel report online.
Recall that Bibian Anekwe News earlier reported that the Lagos State Judicial Panel submitted its report on Monday, November 15 to the Lagos State Government and reportedly found the Nigerian Army guilty.
According to the report, the Nigerian Army fired live bullets at the protesters in Lekki toll gate on October 20, 2020, which was admitted by General A.I.Taiwo on pages 6,7,21 and 22 of the report.
The general admitted on page 22 that the army went to the venue of the killings with live and blank bullets.
The report also stated that the absence of the officers of the Nigerian Army, who were summoned by the panel was an effort to hide material evidence relevant to the investigation.
However, the report has left Olunloyo perplexed as she stated that the names don’t have any social media profile attached to them.
She stressed that the Nigerian youths who were at the venue of the massacre had phone and internet access to social media platforms yet their names were not registered on the platforms.
