So many social Philosophers have considered the intricacies of a mental construct called ‘Idea’ and concluded with a mind boggling verdict that ideas can only issue from a sound and critical mind. Positive ideas as against a negative one is an aggregate factor towards human and societal problem solution. The above assertion sums up the theme of Idea as a ruler of the world in Sam Adeyemi’s book “Ideas rules the World”.
The essential message of embracing a positive mental construct to solve personal and life issues lies in the fact that we can gain mastery over life by employing the same process by which God solved the chaotic problem in the beginning of creation. We can move from failure to success and from lack to abundance by receiving ideas and by turning those ideas into reality.
Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah in just a little above 30 days in office as a Governor has again demonstrated that he is a leader with a bunch of ideas running wild in his head and which he is quite prepared to deploy in the governance of his people. Mbah is a leader who listens more than talking which is a great attribute of a pragmatic leader. Such listening skills has resulted in his ability to work up an idea that is not only sound but great to solve his service compact with the people of Enugu State. One of such ideas towards the eradication of the perennial waste generation and disposal in Enugu and environs has just been born. Enugu is about to witness a bespoke cleanlier environment while hoping that our economy bounces back to the betterment of the people. Not quite a few of the citizens of Enugu were excited at the prospects of having a mobile trash bins furnished with standby solar lights and accompanied with active security cameras and other relevant modern sanitation facilities at designated locations in the city with plans to replicate such infrastructures right round the streets of Enugu.
This is true quintessential Governor Peter Mbah in action. No one can really take it away from him that he is a man of pragmatic values who walks his talks always. By deploying an idea considered practicable to solve the environmental filthiness of the city, Mbah has once more demonstrated his astuteness as a manager of men and resources and his readiness to govern Ndi Enugu in a manner that will clearly assuage the yearnings of the people.
It is therefore important to remind the good people of Enugu State to remain steadfast in the support the government policies and programs by carrying out our civil responsibilities without the penchant to breach the constitutional framework foregrounding our statehood.
The recent sanitation installations at some strategic points in Enugu is an indication that Governor Peter Mbah’s idea to build sanitation systems that blend different functional units together is one born in the womb of time. The system will allow for the management and reusing or disposing of the different waste flows from households, institutions, agriculture or industries in order to protect the people and the environment. The system would be of great economic values due to its recyclable engineering.
Let’s therefore thumbs-up for our pragmatic Governor who is sure bringing our tomorrow closer. OUR TOMORROW IS ALREADY HERE INDEED!
Long Live, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Mba.
The Executive Governor, Enugu State.
Long Live the Good People of Enugu State.
