THAT SMEAR CAMPAIGN AGAINST GOVERNOR UGWUANYI-GOD IS WATCHING
The social media channels is awash with some unsettling news item against the action packed Governor of Enugu state, Rt honorable Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. The fake news merchants in a bid to reopen what is better forgotten as a sad commentary in our recent past with regards to the unfortunate incident which claimed lives at Nimbo Uzo-Uwani local government area, took to the social media platforms to peddle fake news against the governor. Admittedly, these are the works of political jobbers and their shameless and faceless sponsors. But what do they actually seek to achieve by reinventing evil and diabolic narrative against the “profoundly good man” and humanist par excellence which Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi embodies? Operation pull him down may be in the cards and incubating in their evil minds and for the wrong reasons, because Ugwuanyi’s train for the next destination has left the station. They that labour in the vain pursuit of pull him down so that his stars may dim will surely labour in vain. The arrow of the enemy fashioned wrongly will meet with the shooter. The Lord God has confirmed this.
The kernel of the fake news alleged that in the wake of the crisis where hapless farmers of Nimbo settlement were gruesomely murdered by the merchants of death, the Executive governor of Enugu state, Rt honorable Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi was kept waiting for hours on the phone while trying to get across to the presidency to source for help. What impudence! What a wicked lie! Like they say, the voice of the people is the voice of God. Not a few persons were bemused by this convulsed antics of the political jobbers. For the critical minds, the shenanigans of Governor Ugwuanyi’s political detractors is as sure as day break and can only be taken with a pinch of the salt.
Interestingly, not quite a few has risen in defense of our global Gburu-Gburu. One cannot really fault the scintillating statement authored by no less a personality than the former minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode who spoke what every good minded people know about Ugwuanyi…
“He did not have any conversation with Presidency officials on the phone & Ugwuanyi is one of the few Governors and leaders that we have in this country today that is a profoundly good man.
Chief Femi kani Kayode who spoke venomly against political detractors whose stock in trade is smear campaigns against political progressives, wondered why anyone would seek to treat Gov. Ugwuanyi like this or devise to demean him? He concluded by tagging the merchants of disinformation as simply despicable.
Governor Ugwuanyi, it must be stressed for the avoidance of doubt have no any official phone conversation with the presidency in the wake of the unfortunate incident that engulfed Nimbo in the time past let alone being delayed over the phone with whoever in the Presidency. Anyone who masterminded this fake news must be an agent of the devil from the pit of hell and must not be taken seriously. QED!
Governor Ugwuanyi has a rare legacy which attributed to the success of his administration since 2015 he took the mantle of leadership of Enugu state. It is therefore inconsequential for some political jobbers who rant on social media to instigate such allegation without fear or respect for power bestowed on him as a Chief Executive officer of the state. They are purely cheap blackmailers. Ugwuanyi remains that man who is determined to salvage Enugu state from decay.
It is obvious that all what the detractors desire is to ascertain the reaction of Governor Ugwuanyi, each time they peddle lies against him, but not knowing that His Excellency is ever determined, focused, resolute and committed to discharging his legal duties and has no time to listen or look back let alone respond to irrelevant and fabricated lies from the pit of hell.
For someone to be used as a topic of discussion implies that such person have gone beyond the level of the gossipers.
GOVERNOR UGWUANYI IS A SYMBOL OF UNITY, LOVE, CARE, PEACE, EQUITY, TRANQUILLITY AND TOGETHERNESS.
I urge the public to discountenance any criticism on social media against the man who came to serve his people with spirit of humility, selflessness and the first Governor who introduced youth o’clock in governance.
Governor Ugwuanyi is a man of the people and a man for all.
Enugu state is in the hands of God!
