A foretaste of the real deal as the 2023 general elections draw closer played out today during the just concluded PDP gubernatorial primary election in Enugu. While it is worthy to commend the comportment of the delegates as usual courtesy of Ugwuanyi’s political mastery before, during and after the primary election, it is also heart warming to note the observance of peace, harmony and democratic principles as demonstrated by all the contenders to the governorship seat for 2023. Eight out of the total seventeen aspirants to the coveted seat stepped down to allow for a trimmer, peaceful and organized primary election. At the end of the most transparent proceedings, a one time Commissioner in the state and an Entrepreneur, Mr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah emerged victorious to fly the flag of the Peoples Democratic Party in the scheduled gubernatorial election in 2023.
There is denying the fact that Mr. Mbah deserved to win. He is not only qualified but has the charisma to sustain the legacies of the Ugwuanyi administration when he assumes office by the grace of God in 2023.
It is important to underscore the fact of the exercise which produced Mr. Peter Mbah and to appeal to the good consciences of Peter Mbah’s Co-contestants to join forces with him to deliver the state to the Peoples Democratic Party. While we felicitate with Mr. Mbah, it is important to celebrate a man whose temple flows with quintessential oil for leadership. Certainly, his victory will remain a symbolic testimony to the reality that power comes from God.
Today, we are all witnesses to the fact that false allegations and destructive propaganda against reputable personalities can never be sustained in a sound and sane clime like Enugu State. Of course, in this age of information and audio-visual communications, it will always take more than YES to hoodwink the discerning and stable minds of PDP stakeholders in Enugu State.
As all road currently lead to the country home of the incoming governor of Enugu State, Mr. Peter Mbah, we should all stand up in applause and reflect on the divinity of political power acquisition because the choice and emergence of leaders always will always wow our sensibilities as mere spectators or even participants.
Today, the victory of Mr. Peter Mbah as the Enugu State PDP governorship flag bearer will be archived in our treasured political history as an ordination made in Heaven which could not be stopped by mere fabrications of some cheap social media hirelings bankrolled by adamantly unrepentant and sworn enemies of the state.
Long live Peoples Democratic Party!
Long live Enugu State!!
Long live Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi !!!
