Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has reiterated his quest for the republic of Biafra.
Bibian Anekwe News reports that the IPOB leader who has been agitating for the Biafra Republic, stressed on Wednesday, that separating from Nigeria will be beneficial to all.
Citing the Soviet Union, Ethiopia, Czechoslovakia, as examples, Kanu stressed that separation comes with quantum benefits and that these countries suffered when they were held in unity by force.
The IPOB leader maintained that now that the Soviet Union, Ethiopia, and Czechoslovakia are separated, the “new nations prospered more than the old.”
On this note, Kanu, who is also the Director of Radio Biafra, opined that Nigeria led by President Muhammadu Buhari needs to learn that separation can be beneficial to all.
The IPOB leader tweeted: “Separation comes with quantum benefits. Soviet Union, Ethiopia, Czechoslovakia, etc suffered when they were held in UNITY BY FORCE. But now that they’re separated, the new nations prospered more than the old. #Nigeria needs to learn that separation can be beneficial to ALL.”
